About Me

I’m a domestic violence survivor with a broken heart and some big dreams. I’m not good at small talk and I’m almost never satisfied. I want to live with honesty and depth. I want the epic. I’m aware of, and feel paralysed at times by my own pain. I yearn in the midst of that, to be able to make life easier for survivors walking similar roads. To be able to tell them that they matter, that they are not alone and that there is always a second chance.

I love writing blogs, journaling and writing down moments worth hanging on to, lyrics to songs, conversations I remember, things I want to do, quotes and prose. In the words of Jamie Tworkowski “I’ve never been the sort of writer who writes every day. I have to feel inspired or feel like I have something to say. I never know when to expect it.”

I want to encourage people, especially domestic violence survivors & point to hope.

This is blog is me being honest, being bold, being hopeful and saying something that might make a difference.

This is my story. And possibly yours too.
